Author Message   Jdodd Posted on Tuesday, July 05, 2011 - 02:13 pm:        Ok, here's my issue, I noticed that the clutch lever disengages my clutch with about a quarter of an inch left in the lever travel, basically right at the bar. I went through the following steps to make sure the clutch was set up properly: primary fluid checked ok primary chain within tolerances ok set the clutch with 1/4 turn off lightly bottomed ok set the slack in the cable at the lever with 1/16 inch gap. Clutch still disengages almost on the bars, when it is disengaged, it doesn't drag and dropping into 1st is pretty clean and finding neutral is easy and positive.
