Wow, good job! I pushed my old Suzuki three and a half miles once. Buell's only had to be pushed about 3/4 mile - gas - my own dumb fault.

I won't leave a bike unless there's no other option, feels too much like deserting a friend.

When my crank pin went out I was two miles uphill of Maggie Valley, coasted all the way down in neutral and got up to about 60 mph. Had to push it about 1/2 mile to the microtel.

That's interesting, if you have your right hand one key too far to the left and your left hand is correct when you type mile you'll type nuke. Yes it's late, for me anyway.

One mile. I had stopped on my way home after work to vote. After voting got back on my X1, started her up, engaged first gear then let out the clutch and she died. Found that the main fuse had blown and replaced it. Repeated the above twice and ran out of fuses being unable to find the short. After the push home I searched the knowledge vault for possible answers. Thanks to those that have been there before I was quickly able to identify the fault, an injector wire shorted to the frame.

Just a little over 3 miles on a flatland incline I64 Williamsburg, VA. Holed front cylinder. Several other but of less distance. Some times I feel like Kevin Costner "Dancing with Wolves" instead "Walking with Buells"
