Some guys I ride with use the faux sheep skin. Looks funny but they swear by it, it's not odd to hear of them doing 600+ miles in a day when they go west. |

For hot weather riding they are cool beans! I have used one on my Firebolt for a number of years during July and August here in hot and humid Kansas. Looks like they have one using ceramic beads now. I would spend the extra money on them. The wood beads start looking rough after one season. I would think that you would have to us real sheep skin and not faux to get the true natural benefits of wool. |

Ahh, PETA. They've been around my neck of the woods lately. http://www.wkyt.com/home/headlines/47995606.html They stir controversy wherever they go and I don't want to send this to the backfire board. I've talked with a fellow badwebber who actually used to come here for the chicken fights, I've never been but am pretty apathetic towards it. Even the NRA called last week (multiple times) using scare tactics on me to join. The little girl on the phone and I had a pretty good conversation which basically ended with me not joining and her coming to the realization that Kentuckians are going to own guns no matter who is in the White House. Sorry for taking this off topic. |

I used something like this on the saddlesore I did on my old Honda Hawk. It's weird how well it works, but I think half the battle on long rides is changing your seating situation every 500 miles or so. I also just took apart something at Wal-Mart. I think it's like $7. They also sell a gel seat for ATVs that vintage guys swear by... Randy |

That's what I meant -- the people eating tasty animals group --I believe most Buell Riders have far too much testosterone not to need the extra protein -- |
