I've got one o my 2001 Cyclone and I'm very happy with the setup. The clutch is no better than if you just fitted a new cable but it stays like that and never wears. It did take a little time to get it the way I wanted it but now its great.
Hope this helps

We used to have the kit for the tubers as well as the XBs. They are mostly identical, but the actuating rod on the XB is 10mm longer than on an XL based engine.

The first ones I got leaked primary fluid at the interface between the primary case ferrule and the slave cylinder. It has a face seal at that joint, but that isn't sufficient to achieve a decent seal to prevent primary fluid weepage. I worked with Magura to fix the problem, and the solution was to put another seal like the one that keeps the hydraulic fluid in the slave cylinder into the ferrule that threads into the primary case. ALL of the XB slaves are built like that. But they only built a small number of slaves like that for the XL based engine. I think they had a boatload of slaves already fabricated that didn't have that seal, and they won't build more XL slave cylinders with that seal until they use them up (reading between the lines). If it doesn't have that seal in that ferrule, I won't sell it. So we discontinued the tuber based version until they decide to build them correctly.

I have one on my XB9S, and really like it. Once I've worn out the clutch cable on my Uly, it'll get one too.

Al

Al, it's great to see you refused to sell a problem part.
