an American Sport Bike tuber bike lift that they want to part with? I gave mine to my brother in law when I sold him my M2 thinking i wouldn't be getting another tuber.

<sigh> If I could only turn back the clock...

Try Harbor Freight. They are cheap and mine works great with my X1.

are you talking about the one that lifts the bike by the foot pegs?

If So I made a few for some friends out of square tubing and some bar stock. I can take pics and send them. All you need is a welded, saw, drill press and grinder...

Buellinator,

Be sure to give your Nephew the span between your foot pegs...
(had to cut and re-weld)

I made one for my buddy who had an S2 and the span on an S2 was way different than a S1,M2,X1, S3...

Since RT hasn't emailed me I'm gonna post the pics here, sorry if I am hi-jacking...

BTW this one was unfinished, it was the first test model. It is missing the side supports, I made little angular pieces connecting the uprights to the center bar...

Thanks for the idea, Spidey. My Super Genius nephew welded one up for me and it works great! I used it when I replaced my rear shock today.

With the lift in the above picture, the instructions had you open up the spacing between the uprights if you had an S2.

The procedure was to use a floor jack!
It didn't take much, only about 1".
The drill was to put one leg UNDER the front of the jack, the other was pushed on by the lift plate. A couple of pumps of the jack handle and it was perfect.

It worked perfectly, I've been using mine on S1's, S2's S3's and M2's with No problems.
