OK, so I have been letting my M2 gather dust for the last two years now. I did have a rear wheel bearing lock up while sitting thank God. Anyway,I am far from a happy camper with the Buell dealer thats near my home and will not give them my money anymore. Thats another reason my poor Buell has been a dust collector for the last few years. I would love ta get my baby back out on the road this year and was wondering about the part numbers for the bearings and if there was any aftermarket source for the bearing set?
Yes, the dealership did piss me off enough in one day that I walked from their door and bought another brand of bike that same day.
So any help I could get that would keep me from their door would be wonderful.

Welcome Carguy!
If you look in the sponsor section (Buell Motorcycles, parts, service....)you can pick out a dealer in your general part of the world and order parts. You get them at your door, and help support those that support BadWeB. Tell them you called because they are a sponsor, some offer discounts. American Sportbike has lots of stuff and knowledge also. They are all good Buell people.
There are threads in Old school and lots in the Knowledge Vault to give guidance, dig around.
Try to get a Service manual and a Parts book, they are crucial to raising blissful Buells.
Buells just laying around start to have all kinds of complexes, get that thing on the road!
Rotzaruck!

Thank you on the reply Rotzaruck. If I can get around going with or threw the HD\Buell dealerships I will do so. I love my Buell and would do what it takes for supporting this site.
BUT!!!! I will not support a company that dose not support its past products or customers! More then once now I have gone for parts for my Buell and have been told "Sorry, but HD no longer makes that part." Now this was back when my bike was under 4 years old. One of those things I was told they didnt make anymore was a clutch cable. I mean COME ON!!! A clutch cable.....
I just feel lucky that my bike has a sportster base for the motor and trans. Thats about the only way I have found parts for my Buell. No sooner dose Buell make a new bike and they forget about the past ones sold.
I feel sorry for the XB guys now. They dont have another HD product that they can fall back on for parts. Thats the same reason I have not picked up another Buell.
It's a total lack of trust that I have for this company and their lack of support on past products.
Two years ago when I did enter my HD/Buell dealership about getting the bearings for my M2. They wanted more then I could buy a whole rear wheel with bearings, brake rotor, and good tire from on e-bay. Plus I was told they would come in within 90 days of me putting in the order. 3 months out!!!!!
On top of that the kid looking up these parts thought it was funny.
So, now its been parked in our shop for over 2 years now. Any aftermarket part numbers or even the true size of these bearings would help. From there I can find them. I just dont feel like pulling the rear wheel apart untill I have a source for the parts. Once I do that I cant move the bike around as easy so....
Thank you again and hope you understand.

principles are great.

everyone should have some to stand on

climb down, put them aside, and deal with our sponsors

the sponsors make this site possible, they want to help you, and they need to make a living doin' it

give them a chance..........
