I have a Wileco RS46 carbon fiber...
I Love it. It gives a nice smooth sound and is loud enough without causing deafness.

Got the D&D- not smooth sound and causes deafness. It's great though, definitely turns heads and sets off alarms in parking lots.

I've got WileyCo (throaty, but nicely muffled sound), D&D race muffler(farking loud with race header), Supertrapp (still new in box), Buell Race Can (still new in box.

I like the sound of the WileyCo..waiting for this second one to die...then I'll figure out which to use next.

Use FORCE!!! LOL. Not the most durable pipe, but I have two and I love the sound. Way louder than my D&D was on the stock headpipe. The forcepipe is a straight-through design though. I'm fortunate enough that nobody around here (leos) care(s) about how loud it is.

D&D FTW.

I had one on my stock header and loved it. Angry neighbors, small children ducking for cover...GRIN

I just put D&D on my M2 with the stock header and it sounds awesome. It has a very distinct down rap. If you get on it it is loud and found out tonight that it's not cop friendly! LOL It defenently turns heads and makes people wonder what the heck was that.

Say Beullistic is that part number the "screaming eagle" one? I don't have my parts book handy, but American Sport Bike sells a 'regular' and also the 'screaming eagle' one.

I have a 98M2 and it came with a V&H can and headpipe all mounted and running when I got the bike. After a mishap or two, the can got slightly scuffed an run over a curb or something, prior to my ownership, and though not visable from the sides, I knew it was scuffed and not perfect. I found an V&H SS R can, brand new on ebay, still the sticker and all intact, unused. Well I also bought a later aluminum S1 swingarm, so while at it, stripped my stock wheels and the swingarm, new isolators and a close look-at, all was good, back together it went. When it was all togather and cinched back up, I fired it up. With the first V&H it was throaty but subdued at a stop, and you were able to weenie away from a stop briskly enough to not get noticed, but this new can, the "R" can is definatly throatier from the bottom up, it will take more effort to avoid the "Man", but can be done without too much effort. Point is the "SS R" can has the deeeep rumble only big pistons will give you, and reving gets you that hair on the back of your neck thing. Think Big Block Mopar or something, Long way from stock, but not objectionable. You could elude the noise police with judicious application of the throttle and still pull away from a stop without drawing attention. BOTOM LINE, it's as much as you reasonably can get away with, and when you open it up the symphony begins...pure music.

Andrew you still have a few options with your Supertrapp. First they make an open end cap for the disk. Second they make longer bolts I think you can have up to 22 or so disk.
