“Rally round, boys. Forget that the Bad Orange Man is surfing on the best economy in decades, that unemployment is at historic lows, especially for the people we’ve been exploiting for—er, especially for our loyal minority constituency, that real wages are rising, that our military is stronger even as the country is extricating itself from costly foreign entanglements: forget all that, put it out of your mind. Remember that Donald Trump tweets mean things about people whom we like.”

We have a former reality TV show host communist party member making us the laughing stock of the world because he has no idea what he's doing.
You may have noticed.

Couldn't resist : )

I'm unlikely to ever be a fan of the reality show host, but the previous guy was a patsy or deliberate traitor to western civilization.

And to be honest, I still can't tell for certain that Obama was evil or incompetent & foolish. Iran, Russia, he either got played or he meant to screw Europe and the Iranian people.

When reporters ask the President about crimes committed by his minions, like Fast & Furious, and his response is that he only knew about it because of the news that morning... It means one of two things. He's a lying leftist scum. Or he's too incompetent to do the job, as he's apparently a tool of gajillionaire Soros & the most evil men and women in our government. Both?

The Bad Orange Man has really annoyed some of the most evil men in power in the world. You know Putin can't be a fan, and certainly doesn't secretly run Trump. ( that's a Hillary campaign lie )

OTOH, Putin may hate Hillary, but he knows she can be bought, his buddies already rented her.

And the DNC claims Putin already has all the blackmail material on her, and them, he'll ever need. Odd how their unverified claim of incompetence and vulnerability doesn't seem to disqualify them for leadership.

RUSSIA and China are flourishing!

According to whom?

From what I've seen, China is having one of their worst years in nearly 30 years.

There is the possibility that he was evil, incompetent and foolish.

From what I've seen, China is having one of their worst years in nearly 30 years.

It really doesn't matter. Trump's goal isn't to control China's economy. It's not much of a point worth consideration when evaluating Trump. I don't think any Presidential candidate has ever run on a platform of making China's economy better or worse. Having said that, I do agree that China is not doing that well. Russia, I'm not really sure about. Putin is certainly doing what he feels will benefit them. Again, has little to do with Trump's performance.

Oh, I don't give two shits about China's economy either. It's just another layer of fact-ignorance on the part of the "woke" lefties, that's all.

Feed them lies about America, they buy it.

Feed them lies about the President, they buy it.

Feed them lies about the rest of the world, they buy it.

No amount of facts will ever change their mind, either. The "woke" are above mere facts - truth is what you wish it to be.

I hope that someone has a plan to "steal back" our nukes in Turkey, and really hope they already pulled & shipped home the "pits", which easily fit in a duffle bag. ( but only one per pile of bags, please! )

I would be surprised if the nukes were brought to a place like Turkey without a very thorough plan to get them out under a variety of scenarios, including the current one. Surely they are not in Turkish custody.

National Review is biased, conservative, and anti Trump, but generally honest.

However, they may depend too much on the Democrat Propaganda Division for facts.

From a theoretical view, it may be hard to sneak thermonuclear warheads out of Turkey, but not the active parts.

Pretty good editorial from VDH. He's usually worth the time.

https://www.newsmax.com/politics/student-debt-loan -forgiveness/2019/10/24/id/938579/

I still think there is merit, politically, and practically, to Trump eliminating the government Student Loan program.

In no particular order.

It costs a fortune every year to pay thousands of government workers who do the accounting and call student loan buyers to threaten them with bad credit ratings.

The program encourages massive inflation in college cost.

It removes the market forces that improve cost and quality.

It nationalized the debt of millions of people, taking that burden onto you, while giving the profits to the banks that bribed the politicians, especially Obama, to give them a really sweet deal.

It would force colleges to lower prices, and cut useless courses like Gender Victim Studies.

It's a more than trillion dollar tax on a big number of Americans, transferring wealth from working people to the richest.

And as a political stunt, it both undercuts the current Undemocratic Socialist presidential opponents of Trump, and would almost guarantee his reelection, as millions of otherwise indifferent or hostile millennial ( or whatever ) leftist indoctrinated former college students suddenly were relieved of crushing debt.

The downsides however, are also real & many.

It would cost a Trillion plus in profits to very rich banks.

It would make getting student loans harder, making young people have to get entry level jobs, displacing cheap illegal immigrants.

It wouldn't increase government control over our lives.

It's a bit unfair to all the younger people who had to take jobs at Costco stocking shelves to pay off their loans because their degree in International Communism or Babylonian Lesbian Pottery didn't actually prepare them for doing anything anyone wants to pay for. Or unfair to us, because it's their fault they chose those majors.

It's unfair to all the people who paid off their loans already.

It might be immoral.

Still. If you're already hated for promising to drain the swamp, how can it hurt to dynamite one of the levies levees, holding so much swamp water?

U.S. says Quebec cap-and-trade deal exceeds state’s powers

The Trump administration on Wednesday launched a legal assault on another of California’s plans to combat climate change, filing a lawsuit challenging the state’s carbon-cutting pact with Quebec.

The lawsuit, filed in a Sacramento-based U.S. district court, argues the state stepped outside its proper constitutional lane by making a deal with the Canadian province on a cap-and-trade deal for limiting carbon dioxide emissions.

The move is the latest in a series of actions the Trump administration has taken against California as it simultaneously challenges the state’s authority to set aggressive greenhouse gas emissions-cutting mandates on vehicles and complains the state has been too lax in confronting local pollution problems.

The administration argues that the Constitution bars states from making treaties or compacts with foreign powers -- like the regional cap-and-trade agreement California entered into with Quebec in 2013.

Such foreign policy matters are the purview of the federal government, the Justice Department asserts.

Read: Trump Isn’t Wrong About California’s Smog. But He’s Not Helping
“The power to enter into such agreements is reserved to the federal government, which must be able to speak with one voice in the area of U.S. foreign policy,” Assistant Attorney General Jeffrey Bossert Clark, of the Justice Department’s Environment and Natural Resources Division, said in a news release. “California’s unlawful cap-and-trade agreement with Quebec undermines the President’s ability to negotiate competitive agreements with other nations, as the president sees fit.”
The Western Climate Initiative targeted by the Justice Department caps greenhouse gas emissions but allows power plants, factories and other industrial facilities to buy permits to release them. A similar regional cap-and-trade program is designed to curb emissions in New York, Massachusetts and other Northeast U.S. states but, unlike the California plan, it does not include international partners.

California carbon prices fell on the news, with the December contract dropping 20 cents to $17.08 a metric ton, according to Evan Ard, a managing director at broker Evolution Markets.
California Governor Gavin Newsom blasted the Trump administration’s move, casting it as part of a broad “political vendetta against California, our climate policies and the health of our communities.”

“California’s landmark cap-and-trade program has inspired the creation of dozens of businesses, is a model for similar policies around the world and puts California well ahead of the pack as we prepare for a low-carbon future,” Newsom said in an emailed statement. “This latest attack shows that the White House has its head in the sand when it comes to climate change and serves no purpose other than continued political retribution.”
California Air Resources Board Chairwoman Mary Nichols questioned the administration’s argument, saying the case appeared to have “absolutely no legal basis,” as the underlying agreement “is not a treaty.”
“Many states have arrangements with other states and countries on a whole variety of topics that we work on together,” she said during a climate event at Stanford University.

President Donald Trump and California officials have been sparring for years, though the battles have intensified recently over the state’s efforts to rein in greenhouse gas emissions from automobiles. California has emerged as a leading legal antagonist of the Trump’s efforts to ease environmental regulations, with the state having filed dozens of suits challenging administration policy actions.
The Environmental Protection Agency moved in September to repeal a six-year-old waiver authorizing the state’s zero-emission vehicle mandate and its own limits on tailpipe greenhouse gas emissions. The EPA also rapped California over water pollution and has accused the state of not doing enough to curb smog.

In addition to Newsom, the lawsuit names the California Air Resources Board, the Western Climate Initiative and others as defendants.
The case is U.S. v. California, 19-at-1013, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of California (Sacramento).

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is dead!!

Good job Mr. President and to our special forces who took him out!

He was at the dead end of a tunnel with 3 children crying when he blew himself up.

So now the question is, did the President pull out of Syria so ISIS would let their guard down so we could find Baghdadi? Would be cool if this was the plan all along, we shall see.

Of course, we know the Bad Orange Man has no idea what he's doing. MSNBC told us so.

Thanks, evening "news".

Now, back to the double secret impeachment leaks.

It occurs to me that despite the illegitimate nature of the Schiff circus, it is legal to declare the proceedings secret. Not as a legal impeachment hearing, but still illegal to leak. Thus the FBI should already know who is breaking the law in the Democrat congressional staff. And should arrest them, charging them to the full extent required by law. How many, faced with prison time would claim they were ordered to break the law by their Bosses? Which is, iirc, an impeachable offense.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/the-str ategic-utility-of-mocking-abu-bakr-al-baghdadi

The cultural value of wrecking the reputation of Islamofascist thugs cannot be under estimated.

Recruitment for ISIS will be more difficult when the leader is seen as a coward, and you don't get to buy teen sex slaves.

Never mind that having 50+ U.S. Rangers hit your neighborhood looking for you is a bowel loosening prospect no matter what your culture.

We are dealing with fragile ego machismo in their culture. Years ago I advocated for the photos of female troops leading naked prisoners by leashes like dogs to be used as billboards on the Iraqi- Syrian & Iranian borders to psyche incoming Jihadi.

Oh, the actions were despicable, and they deserved the prosecution they got. But I'd absolutely use the images as a weapon. Jihadi are in some ways the opposite of Woke SJWs, but in others, as easily manipulated. Both are emotional, not rational, decision makers.

You stick the image in their heads that going up against us gets you the Sub role in prison with female enlisted Doms, ( which some American progressives pay to experience ) and you've planted an irrepressible fear right in the testicles of male sexist pathologies.

Likewise, pictures of dirty, beaten Saddam, and reports that the most elite leader of ISIS whimpered like a beaten dog ( a powerful and common image in that culture ) trying to flee from us, to no avail, is serious power to screw minds and influence people. ( to paraphrase and pervert the Vietnam era idea )

And I find the Russian claims of doubt that the ISIS leader is dead, amusing, typical, and perversely understandable. After all, their Rulers claimed to have killed him at least 3 times. Consistent lies, as we can tell from the Forever Election, aren't needed with the victims of Leftist thought.
