Some incredible footage, taken from a point of view a human wouldn't survive.

I admit it's a little over sized for concealed carry, but those truck mounted ones... give a whole new meaning to Truck Gun.

I think it's this Swedish model.

This makes me want to buy a $1200 gun to save money on ammo

I'd have to give up a couple AR's to do that...and I don't think I'm ready.

In NY you can only fire 7 rounds at a time, and that's a money saver, unless you miss or there are more than 7 muggers at a time. It warms my heart that they are so confident in my abilities. Especially since the average gang that might kick you to death numbers 6.

Fortunately it's no longer a major felony to have an 8 round magazine, up to 10 is now legal. But you must download to 7, or you are public enemy #1.

Also, your guns must be well secured. If you get burglarized, you must immediately report it, and depending on location and politics, will lose your concealed carry permit, and be required to go court to prove you deserve a permit, and install such security fixes as the judge decrees. At your expense.

There are exceptions. I can have & use a Garand with 8 round en bloc clips, legally.

We don't have any bullet button nonsense, or loopholes like CA, this week at least. Next week? Literally impossible to say since anti rights legislation may be passed after midnight in secret.

My sympathies to our brothers behind the lines in California.

And a warning to those in more free states.

Gee, so pretty to be so wrong, and such a parrot to dishonest scum.

I hope none of you "identify as white", and are thus terrorists. I don't identify as anything except on the census. So happy not to be Anglo-saxon. ; )

Yeah...well everyone is deemed "white" when it's politically expedient.

"Liberal" has come to mean liberal with the truth.

As long as the crazy stays concentrated in a few wayward states I guess I'm alright with it...but I remember when it was mostlt NJ that was full libtard in regards to firearms.

The sunset of the so called "assault weapon" ban threw a few states into a legislative frenzy over common firearms.

My pictorial concerning the 1911 vs Beretta M9 (in this case a 92FS), 1911 vs Glock, and 9mm vs 45ACP. The answer is yes.

Just got back from the Sheriff's Evidence room and have ALL my guns back!
They boxed each one and zip-tied the weapon to the bottom of the box.
10 long boxes and 5 short boxes.
Weld County Sheriffs are my favorite guys right now.

Loading and placing them now.
My membership at the range across the street starts any day now, should be able to shoot there Friday evening or Saturday morning after a short safety meeting.

Many moons ago I had all my guns stolen by the neighbor kid and his buddy. I was working Midnight shift and came home to a burgled house! The cops caught both kids and took my guns as evidence. Fortunately they didn't find all my guns! I waited and waited for the cops to let me know when to get them. Finally after 5 months I called and they told me I could have them. When I got there I asked them why I wasn't informed and they told me it wasn't their responsibility!! I asked what would have happened if I hadn't called and they said that after a year they would auction them off!! So the victim gets screwed and since the mother of one worked for the sheriff they got off with a slap on the hands. Something is wrong with this picture!
Zack, I'm glad the boys in blue helped you out. I didn't have the same experience.

Does anyone follow reciprocity maps? Did they change recently? I just went to the USCCA webpage for the first time, and they show that there are actually states who RECOGNIZE a Maryland permit?? Not just Constitutional Carry states...but eleven others (unrestricted) and two with restrictions?

Wow.

I didn't think ANYONE recognized a MD permit, since we don't recognize anyone else's...and the old maps I referred to, backed that up. Don't remember what resource I was using, though...

Ideally...that's how it should be. In practice, law abiding folks tend to get screwed.

I had a pellet pistol confiscated when I was a young lad (out with it a day before my 16th birthday...when it would be technically legal to possess without the supervision of a parent or guardian). Boy, was that ever a hassle...and I never got the damn thing back. When I joined the Marines I learned that they had charged me as an adult for a weapons violation when I had been told that it was a sealed case as a first offense. The adjutant was actually more pissed off then I was about it...had some words for that agency representative when she called them. Small town in NY...those cops had a habit of acting a bit big for their britches. I wasn't surprised at all.

"My" detective said he exercised discretion by leaving my airguns.
District DA's directive to confiscate all firearms after a shooting as evidence.

Aside from a 60 mile roundtrip, I'm tickled shitless.

Proud of my Sheriffs...

While the Orange County Sherriff's Department was robbing my home during my arrest back in 2006, they left my pellet guns too.

Said they were doing me a favor, meanwhile stealing over $25,000 in cash and several of my guns that didn't show up on the "inventory".

2A is my permit as well. I don't need no stinking papers.

They're not firearms.

It's pointless to take anything but the specific firearm used.

Were you ever compensated for the loss in any way?

I lost only an $60 air pistol, and I'm still pissed about it

Gun confiscation is a two way street. Here is what doesn't get reported in the news. While I lived near Chicago a LEO friend informed me that the gangs took a pistol from a Chicago officer every week or two. That was just a few years back.

I find more than three round bursts in sub 9 pound guns to be a waste. Now the MG-42 was great at 200 meters and the M-60 wasn't horrible. I did prefer trying to fire the M-60 one round at a time at 1200 meters. The M-16 was a hoot after dark with a starlight scope. I just didn't like having to wait for the scope to come back up in between rounds. I personally like single or 2 shot bursts. Now the Uzi was a cadillac on full auto. But again, did waste a lot of ammo.

This one was in 5.56mm. The slant brake actually over compensated...sending the muzzle down and left...which was unexpected. I will say, an M16A2 is far more pleasant to shoot and controllable.

I haven't had any experience with UZI's or MP5's...which are both supposed to be quite nice to shoot. I have had extensive experience with the M249 SAW, M240G, M2 50BMG, and MK19 grenade launcher.

I haven't shot an Uzi before, but there is a local shop that has an MP5 to rent and it's really easy to shoot at full auto.

My only other comparsion was an M16 that I got to shoot with the police department and there was a lot of muzzle climb. I can see where it would be fun, but impractical without being mounted to a turret

I was looking for a picture of how we were trained to fire the 16 on full auto. All I have been coming across on line are people holding it like they are shooting a rifle. We held it at the hip with the left had holding down on top of the fore-grip. Glove recommended.

Rick, did the SAW climb? I assume it is meant to shoot with the bipod, not from the hip (unless forced to)?

The SAW was always fired off the bipod...so I dunno. Shooting such guns off the shoulder standing and unsupported is just a stunt, generally. I pity the fool clearing rooms with one.

Just read the top ten headlines at Breitbart today. I don't want to link them all.

If you're too lazy to watch the politicos coming to kick your door down, I'll summarize.

Trump is supporting & egging on White Supremacist groups, according to Democrats, who are in the Nation's largest White Supremacist group since before the Civil War. And to this day. ( they just lie more now )

The Democrats are demanding action now! Aka elimination of the Second ( & First ) Amendment, and confiscation of your guns. Again. Always. With the 24/7 full support of Leftist Media.

When multiple candidates for President are openly calling for confiscation exactly like, and with the same motives & honesty as the German Socialists in the late 1930s, you can assume that they have a good shot at success.

Just like that movie series... This is how a Republic dies, to thunderous applause.
