So after how many months of bashing, Trump fights back at Morning Joe and now they're all over him? Playing the victim again, it's all his fault? Haha!

Donald you are a no class jerk

So, you criticize Trump's name calling by calling him names. Yeah, I can see how that's effective.
I too wish someone would take his phone away. He just came off a win against CNN and the next day he drops this on us.

No, I don't criticize his name, I criticize his behavior. Jerk. That's not a name, that's a judgment.

Is it the Donald you object to?

I've lacked the "proper respect" for politicians for years, as far as calling them "Senator Leghorn" or President Clinton, since they are celebrities, and to avoid confusion as to which scum I'm taking about, when we have these wannabe dynasties. Much easier to say Hillary or Bill or Chelsea when discussing the Arkansas Klan, although I do use Bush the Elder, etc. for that family, since just the first name isn't enough.

No, Foghorn, or Barry, or Donald is good enough for a person hired to work for me. Even in a management position. Egalitarian rules.

Most of my Fury towards Hillary isn't her personality, it's that she is above the law. If I did a fraction of the alleged crimes or confirmed felonies she's accused of and verified to commit, I'd die in prison. So might you.

The Trump Administration annoys me often. WTF is this "alternative facts" bull crap? I know it's not polite to call CNN reporters liars to their face, but how can any President have his Press Minion trot out such a bull manure meme?

Feel free to post up the links that show this "facts" business was all a deliberate misunderstanding by the Propaganda machine. I'd appreciate that. It sure seems like we we told they have they own facts. Like they just followed the Dem propaganda machine right down the rabbit hole.

You need to know the language of lies the left uses, and sometimes you should use them against them, when it's effective and you aren't made a liar in the process. But the fundamental difference between honest men and scum of the Earth is simple.

You are entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts. Facts are not subjective. There is Objective reality.

Your intentions are not enough if your policies make it worse.

( assume deleted rant on morality referencing the Jesuit principals of action and intent )

As to effective? At changing some rich jerks mind who will never read my comment? useless. At telling you I'm annoyed at the bad behavior? pretty clear.

Yeah, I get that he's trolling, I just want a little class. Not a lot, just.... it's rude as heck to mention someone was bleeding from her face lift. I'm good with snarky, but darn.

If I want Menstrual Humor I'll hang out at women's complaint sites. ( I assume they exist, I'm sure Alfau can point me )

Hate to be a prude but while the limits are vague to non existent, there are things that fall into the category of beyond rude. I understand the anonymous thing allows people to say things that they'd never say to your face. I get that. Heck, I'm guilty.

When someone says somebody's under age children should be raped, that's over the top. ( and if it was my Children, I might react badly. Like "I have a certain set of skills " badly )

Most of this stuff is coming from the left. They say the over the top stuff and declare jihad with no expectations of reprise. Because the Media is left.

I want, and I think We Need, our side to be cleaner than that. If Donald wants our support he should have some freaking filter, or he's going to troll his way to infamy, instead of being the Guy Who Made America Great Again.

Doesn't mean I want him not to point out the lies, Heck yeah, I just don't ever want the President of the United States to insult someones breasts or physical limits.

Dick Hand size jokes are ok. That's been ongoing for over a year.

Why would my comment be construed as trolling? Patrick's opinions are just that - opinions. I don't see my two sentence response as being inflammatory but I apologise if I got anyone's "Irish" up.

And DON'T call me a liberal. I've been a conservative since watching Bill Buckley debate Gore Vidal during the 1968 political conventions.

Not YOU trolling. Trump. It's Trump that trolls the Media. Sometimes I like it. When I don't I complain.

I wasn't sure what your objection was to my comment. Please fill me in.

I figured it was either my lack of respect for the Office, with the "Donald", and, guilty as charged. Or that I was calling him names, like a silly schoolgirl. And I don't think I was, I thought I was making a judgment call on Our employee's actions.

Now, me, I AM an Olde School Liberal, but not at all what Rush and the pundits mean today. I used to be Conservative, and a lot of that common sense stuff stuck. Big fan of William F. Buckley Jr. Don't agree with everything he said, but he was usually the smartest man in the room. ( Would have been awesome to see him destroy Obama, intellectually, and no doubt with Class )

The term Liberal was stolen and perverted by the Progressives. Progressive is the "we need a name that sounds good because Communist agitators doesn't sell". And Communist agitators are dedicated, and professional liars. It's in the book.

We live in, and this is the long exact terminology, a "Liberal Western Civilization" that is founded on the principals of the Enlightenment, the rights of the individual man over the privilege of the King. ( as opposed to the Western Civilization of the Hundred Years War or Charlemagne. )

As a good example of how mangled and stolen the political names are, I saw a great PBS show where they throw out a question and 2 groups supposedly on opposite sides argue.

The question was "Is the Drug War A Failure?"

On one side was a D congresscritter, a lefty journalist, and the Doctor that "saved the Navy from it's 1970-80's drug problem". ( with harsh authoritarian crackdowns, and it worked. ) "Liberals"

The other had a R congresscritter, Bill Buckley, and the Doctor in charge of Emergency Rooms in Brooklyn. "Conservatives"

You might guess how that turned out. : )

Both sides absolutely agreed the War was a Failure.

The Progressive side insisted that we needed to double down and get harsh with our treatment of drug users.

The Conservative side figured it might be time to try legalization, if only to break the grip the Crime syndicates had on us.

Got quite heated. The telling argument for me came when the Doc in charge of Brooklyn ER's explained he gets about 8 cases of Heroin overdose a year. Each one sad. And that the vast majority of his patients coming in with their lives on the line were casualties over drug turf.

The Progs just couldn't accept any solution that didn't involve more power for them.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/jun/29/do nald-trumps-mad-genius-drives-schoolmarms-of-pol/

not everyone agrees with me.

“The Amazon Post” — the paper-of-record for Never Trumpers — rushed to the defense of Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough with a laughably illogical and twisted explanation.

“The notion that Brzezinski and Scarborough were desperate to hang out with Trump on New Year's Eve but were rebuffed seems dubious, at best,” reporter Callum Borchers wrote on the paper’s website.

“For one thing, the New York Times spotted the co-hosts at Trump’s New Year's Eve party at Mar-a-Lago.”

So, wait a minute? The proof that Mr. Trump is lying about Ms. Brzezinski and Mr. Scarborough slumming around Mar-a-Lago around New Year's Eve is that — well — Ms. Brzezinski and Mr. Scarborough were slumming around Mar-a-Lago around New Year's Eve?

2 plus hour meeting with Putin.

Putin denies interference in U.S. election. Cease fire negotiated in Syria. Most of Hamburg not on fire.

Reporters mocked by both, quietly.

I'm waiting for the CNN stories on Russian collusion.

The Russians have been interfering in elections for decades. Putin is KGB. He's lying...his lips are moving.

I find it very strange that the folks clamoring for Trump's head for being in bed with the Russians are the same ones who clamor for communism to be adopted here. I guess they hate Trump more than they love their fellow travelers.

It's not communism...its "Democratic Socialism," as in you elect the purveyor of your social oppression and economic demise.

So different from socialism

The main purpose of the nonsense is to get the lemmings to support an expansion of the welfare state, various social programs, and various subsidies and incentives.

If socialist revolution came to fruition here, it would be very not good.

If socialist revolution came to fruition here, it would be very not good.

Weren't you paying attention? ; )

The last 2 Democrat candidates that won their primaries Hillary & Obama, were endorsed by the Communist Party USA. A Socialist Party guy ran on the Democrat ticket. ( and was screwed by the one endorsed by the Communist Party )

As Alinsky pointed out, America wouldn't take a revolution. We already had ours and had no Aristocracy to overthrow. So they infiltrated and lied their way into the existing structure. Same books, same religion, just slightly different buzzwords. France got "viva le Revolution!" we got "social Justice". Instead of Kill The King!, we got, It's Not Fair!

I'll bet you that very few people you meet know the "differences" between Socialism and Communism.

in one the People control the means of production. in the other the State controls the means of production. Since the People are the State.... what's the difference?

You'd think the difference is like Championship Wrestling. Gotta have villains to point the people at, so they don't turn on us. Gotta be an enemy to keep the hate going or it turns inward.

Often, the leaders party together on the quiet. Lots of Champagne at the G-20 conference.

Bernie is more a fascist ideologically than an actual socialist. He can't even get that right. His movement is a frightening revelation to how clueless young folk are.

Obama and Hillary had the neo-Progressive creeping socialist agenda, but we'd had enough of that.

I've always though the "people" controlling the means of production was more a sales pitch than an actuality. When the hell did it ever actually work that way?

Actually.... today. My 401K is mostly in stocks. That's true of most folk, that they've invested in the system and it works for them.

But you are dead solid right that it's a sales pitch.

And the pitch comes from a drug fueled fever dream. From college kids who knew everything, and nothing, who loved to sit getting hammered and complain how it isn't fair, and things should be done better.
( Karl Marx & his frat )

Which I bet is timeless.

They put their utopian vision in the language of economics. In the 1950's it would have been in terms of Management theory, and today it would be social media.

But the intent was to steal & smash to riches and power. And as a System to do That, it's been a great success.

I have asked devout socialists to name a successful socialist state that isn't a free market economy based system as ours. They continue on with endless rhetoric, but never answer the question.

The Scandinavian countries people love to use as examples are free market economies with a lot of social programs and spending...as is ours. HUGE difference from, say, Venezuela or North Korea.

This is per percentage of GDP. We're sooo socialist already

FWIW my interest in socialism is 90% limited to a mild attraction to socialized medicine. IIRC Canada and UK both show mild improvements in lifespan and cost per citizen with such systems. Granted, American culture is kind of different, we love to sue doctors, so the same system might not work in the same way here. Reforms would have to be made on malpractice insurance for example.

Basically I would support nearly anything that looked like it would reduce medical inefficiency and I wouldn't automatically rule out socialized medicine because of the dreaded "S" word.

The other 5% is a preference for social programs for poor families over corporate welfare, and the remaining 5% is for Marx's awesome beard.

My cousin Carol is a nurse in Rotterdam, NL. She needed a knee replacement. She waited 7 years to get one. So long in fact, that by the time she got it, her other knee and one hip needed replacing. She is still in line waiting for those.

When it came, she was subjected to a brutal procedure with 6 other patients in the same room under local anasthesia. Yes, that's right. Local. She got to listen to her own bones being sawed, hacked, and chopped out of her body. Oh, she also got to listen to the others in the room having their bones hacked out. Of course, several of the patients became ill and were vomiting uncontrollably into bags.

I could go on at length about this horror story, but it's just one example of socialized medicine.

She will be coming to the United States for her other knee and hip.

We could have a tax paid health insurance program, if we didn't have multiple ones already.

Any such scheme that would not go ballistic on costs, like the ACA, would require that a lot of people in government lose their jobs. There would also probably be cutbacks in Insurance companies, if you went for a subsidy system. But not as many and profits would probably improve.

The trouble is that a logical system that took the best from all over the world, and avoided the worst, is "possible". It just won't happen. The lobby for govt. employees won't let it.

You think minor revisions to the AKA gets you branded as a child killing murderer? Try eliminating Medi-caid. Literally ripped limb from limb by the crowd. ( even though you'd replace it. If it means a million federal workers get laid off, you die. )

So is this whole Russian thing a huge set up? Let this lawyer in. Get a third party to set up a meeting, claiming she will provide dirt on Hillary, which she didn't have. Then claim some sort of collusion between Trump and the Russians. BO was awfully quick with the claims that he knew something about this.

Even so, there seems to be nothing illegal done by the Trump team. Even with what appears to be a set up by BO, there's just no there there.

Exclusive: DOJ let Russian lawyer into US before she met with Trump team
