I agree there is some grumbling about the whole Trans issue muddying up the marriage equality issue, but I think these are largely coming from selfish people who don't like doing community work when it doesn't immediately benefit them. Trans people are even rarer than gays and have more profound hardships that arise from similar sex stereotyping. IMHO a person should be allowed to use the restroom that allows them the most privacy. However I don't believe you should be entitled to a free endowment enlargement surgery just because you feel that the body you were born into is the wrong one. The radfem thing might be best explained by democratic money using the most marginalized most vocal groups to do the gruntwork of democratic recruitment. Maybe it's the job description for their paid internships? IDK I avoid unpleasant people and such groups tend to want to micromanage everything they can see. | ||

We certainly live in an interesting time as it relates to "big media". Anyone with half a brain that takes a look at how CNN has reported the last 18 months of politics would be high as a kite to think they offer honest journalism. I don't care if you're black, white, green, purple, republican, democrat, whatever...CNN is a joke when it comes to honesty or any real journalistic practice. The real question is, will any of them actually learn a lesson from the dishonesty? It would take an event that severely cripples any of them financially before it registers, me thinks. | ||
