Checked what? He probably meant the crank nut that secures your stator cup that is inside your chain driven pimary assembly under the primary cover (left side of the bike, not right).

Is it like a ringing sound? And does it go away when you lightly drag the clutch (at a stop with the brakes on)? If so, it's that nut. Fix it soon, if you get in there early you just pull the nut, clean the threads, put on loktite red, torque to the new updated torque specs, put back together and ride. If you wait, those splines on the crank can get chewed up, and you have to split the cases.

no its a tink sound and its coming from the front part of the primary cover and he said that it was the primary sprocket compensator nut and he said if i can put a wrench on it and spin it its loose so i went home and took the cover off and could not get it to budge so i torqued to 250 ftlb like he told me too put it all back together put fluids in it started it up and the same problem so i have no clue wut to do and its my only transportation to work

Don't think this is it but have you checked your primary chain adjustment?
Does the noise vary with engine speed? Check for loose fasteners on exhaust and other items in the area?

Your dealership gave you bad information. The sprocket shaft nut won't necessarily spin loose as that nut is installed with liberal amount of red loctite which prevent it from doing so.

In order to properly torque that nut it first needs to be completely removed and have all the threads cleaned on nut and sprocket shaft; then apply red loctite and tighten/torque as specified.

When you drained the oil out of the primary to get at the engine sprocket nut, was there any kind of metal debris in the oil or on the bottom of the primary? Any at all?

Things that could go wrong in there are a worn, loose or broken primary chain adjuster or a magnet that came unbonded from the rotor and it's rattling around in there.

Did the primary chain adjuster shoe have any grooves worn in it? Grooves are OK but the max allowable depth ranges from 0.040" on the outer ones to 0.0625" on the inner ones. If it's really worn through the plastic shoe to the metal backing plate, there could be chain-to-adjuster metallic noise coming from the bottom of the primary cover midway between the engine sprocket and clutch sprocket.

Ya know, if you are not sure exactly where the noise is coming from, you can use a mechanic's stethoscope to determine what part of the engine is making the noise. Or a large screwdriver held with the handle on the ear and the the pointy end on various parts of the engine will work too.

Or maybe the "pinging" sound you are hearing is actually the engine pinging as in not running high octane fuel?

there was a very little bit of metal shavings on the drain plug and the adjuster shoe had grooves but very slight and i know its not the fuel cuz im running octane booster so its good lol but hopefully the dealer can figure it out when i take it there if i dont find out wut it is

You assume the fuel is OK because you used octane booster? It's not OK if one, for instance, puts in 87 octane, notices the engine pinging, then puts in octane booster. You didn't do that, did you?

Well, if you did, no problem, that's easy to fix. Just run 91 or greater octane fuel without octane booster. That's important because there could be an intake manifold leak which would make a cylinder run lean and show the problem as pinging. Using octane booster in this situation might hide the symptom and make the problem harder to identify.

So, when it makes this noise, is the engine under any kind of load or does it do it all the time: on the sidestand idling, cruising or revving under load?
