there is not so much people here to speak with about american v-twin , buell and harleys.....
the bikes in the pictures are mine.
i did almost everythings in my garage using
badweb like information source

you can read about the buell xb in my profile .
the sportster its the same mentioned in my profile to , but now the conversion-recostruction its 90% done i miss only S.E. ignition module , new tires and maybe better rear shocks.
it was a 2004 883 xl after a big crash
now : 1200 flat top wiseco pistons , new 1200 cyl. kit dynojet with the stock carb.
home made tail , home made treeple clamps ,
home made air filter , 50% home made muffler and headers. ported heads (done by me following istructions .....to much difficult explain in english..) new combustion chambers to fit wiseco flat top ,
rear positioned foot controls new handlebar
(two pieces cafe' racer style) coming from a honda 125 nsr , new home made windshield with a plexy coming from the buell.
i did a test ride comparing my sporty in the street with an original 1200 of a friend. mine its really more powerfull more noisy less fine not so well finished but compared to an original 1200 sporty
i think a 20 - 25% more power and more torque at less rpm .

see the pictures and let me know what you think about ...
thank you all
bye Alessio

That sportster is sweet. I love what you did with the front end. Using a Buell windscreen and fairing stay, genius.

There is only one thing I don't like. The headers hang down under the bike too far where they meet the muffler.

If possible, I think it would look better if the collector/exhaust/header was kept up higher so it didn't interrupt the lines of the frame/engine case.

"there is only one thing"...
thank you Naustin , you very friendly...
i know there are a lot of things to adjust , what you pointed its correct and i hope to fix it soon.
but the list of things to fix and to change is very long....example:
the gear has 1st up and i don't want to spend a lot of money to by a lever kit to change it in 1st down....

thanks again
bye Alessio

Nice work. Different and interesting for sure.

What is the metalic part that appears to wrap around the left side frame, just above the clutch cover on the Firebolt?

to blake
the metallic part its an aluminium piece of metal i used to cover the negative wire coming from the "rapid bike" module going to the negative pole of the battery. i wanted to pass that wire as far as possible from the engine heat.
i repeat : my biggest informations source that make those projects possible is this fantastic place so ....
what i must say....thanks again
