Just have 1000 miles on my '06 XB12Scg, just did oil, filter and tranny oil changes. Noticed during 70-degree ride yesterday that cooling fan was only running on low speed when I stopped for gas and then later to park for the day. Bikes was running fine, doing interstate and stop-and-go normally. I'm used to the fan running on noisy high speed before going back to quieter slower speed. Is this a function of breaking in the engine, or of changing to Mobil 1 synthetic in the motor? Checked the fan fuse, it was okay. Should I be concerned? TIA.

Just took out bike for a 40-mile loop of combined back, town and open roads, fan now normal. Maybe taking out fuse to check made for better contact? Any case, good excuse for a ride on a sunny, still 70 degree day.
