Anyone experiences with this engine stand?
Is it worth the money?

That one looks better than the one I bought on ebay last year. I like the fact that you can a) swivel the motor; b) get "under" the motor (oil pump gear).

One thing to remember....it's not easy getting the motor onto the stand!!!

Lake, you are correct on that one!
I made one for the S1 project bike motor.
It's a bit higher than the one you are talking about.
I like the idea of a swivel, I just used a service cart as a base!

Here's a picture, not the best but the only one I have here at work.

Here's a stand I made for my project, I made it so it keep the engine and swingarm at the correct ride height for my needs.

Check out my project with this link, also the archives for more pictures.

Joe,your engine stand looks a little bit wobely, once the engine is out of the frame.
Especially while working on some high torqued parts.
I'm looking for some working stand, not for a jack.
Ralph

Well I guess you don't know what your talking about! Ralph
It's as solid as a rock even with the swingarm/rear wheel and mount still attached.
Dosen't look like a jack to me...

Sorry for sharing!

Hey Joe.

The last thing I intended was to tread you on your toes.
Sorry if I made you feel that way.

Could it be that you are a little bit vulnerable when talking comes to your craftsmanship and if someone does not take everything you build for the philosopher's stone, just because it's you who made it?

And:Thank you for sharing.
Ralph

Joe, that's a pretty cool idea but hopefully I won't be needing one of those again anytime soon, lol. But then again, you never know! It's a Buell after all

You haven't patented it have you? Just in case!
