I'm new to the fuel injected bikes, and have a question regarding an 00 S3T. I was in light stop and go traffic for about 20 minutes, when my bike started idling a little bit rough, and about 700 rpm's faster than normal. When I got to the house I shut it off and started it back up it ran normal. There was a heavy rich exhaust smell in the garage afterwards also. Any ideas? Was it just getting hot, and the ECM was enriching the mixture? any help would be appreciated.

Blks1?:

You should change the SEAL,intake manifold PN 26995-86B every 2 years as "PREVEVTIVE MAINTENCE", if you do not the engine will start
running poorly(need to do a leak test) ...

Sometimes when the engine starts to run eratic
you can reset the "BRAIN BOXes" mind by removing the BATTERY terminal cables, negative first, then the positive, STRACKE the cable ends together as if you were stracking a match, then
put the positive on first, then the negative ...
Then go for a ride(50 miles +/-) for BRAIN BOX to
relearn you riding style ...

Less than $15 for all three (2 intake, 1 throttle body).
