The stock XB turnsignals are actually pretty decent all things considered.

They have a flexible stalk, they have the right lengths, they have the right leads, and they are reasonably bright.

However, at $25 each they are a bit pricey. And in terms of durability, they do seem to fall apart after a few years. Again, they will last something like 30k miles, so not a terrible choice, but not perfect either. And they are bulb instead of LED, so the bulbs can and do burn out (where an LED can last forever).

So stock is not a bad choice, but there is room for a cheaper better option if somebody can find one.

I bought a set of these:

turnsignals

They have the rubber stalk, the price is very good (about $3 each), and they don't look too goofy.

Shipping is crazy slow.

The leads and mounts are not quite stock, but aren't hard to adapt. So not plug and play, but not hard either.

The construction seems decent.

They don't interfere with stock luggage.

The brightness of the signal is, in my opinion, somewhere between "barely adequate" and "nearly adequate". Perfectly visible under all conditions, but not the kind of "demand attention" brightness I would have preferred.

I think the only people that see turn signals are the ones looking for them, and if you are looking for these you will see them, so they are probably fine. But I would have preferred brighter.

They are LED, so they will require a flasher relay update as well.

Here is the auction I bought from. These things are probably everywhere on Ebay and Amazon, no idea how to tell if any are different.

I only used two of the 4 I bought so far. The two I grabbed worked fine, I have not tried the other two yet.

Can anyone post the name of the company that made the XB turn signals for Buell?

It is October 2019 as I write this.... the rubber flexible stalks on all my Buell turn signal (I have a box full of 'em) are slowly turning from 'flexible and tough' to 'weak and brittle'.
A source for just the rubber stalks would be nice to know about.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Jim

Does signal have any company marks on it?

Jimj - The stock turn signals are made by a company called "ECIE S.R.L."

I believe this is their website - https://www.ecie.it/en/home-en/
