Engine problems started around 4 weeks ago. Riding to work the engine would begin to splutter and feel like running on 1 cylinder at the same point around 8 miles / 10 mins from home. i would use Rickover revs to travel the 2nd half of the journey. This happened over 4 or 5 days until one time it just didn't start one evening and was taken by truck to a garage.

Changed ignition coil and TPS in order to get it running again and thought it was solved. It ran ok for a couple of days.

Recently it started almost cutting out at 5000 rpm after a couple days of this it has started spluttering again at low revs, smoke and fire from the exhausts and white smoke from the O2 sensor on the rear cylinder.

Normally a full tank last 3 days covering 35 miles /day but it's just used a full tank in 1x 35 mile day.

Not sure what to do next other than change the ECM. Does anyone have experience of a similar problem?

Thanks
Ian
