Bike ill not go over 25-30 mph. it will shift from 1st to 5th no problem but acts like clutch is halfway engaged.

Did you go through the clutch adjustment procedure (by the book)? There is a lot more to it then just taking the slack out of the cable.

yeah sorry about that this is my first time posting to a forum. i haven't done anything yet i was waiting to see what you guys suggested. where can i find a step by step procedure? or is there one? i dont want to take it to a dealer if i dont have to.
