I just acquired a xb9r03 tuesday last week it had a flat battery when it arrived, charged battery and started bike run for a very short time, i tried to start on the w/end she sounds like she prims turns over but won't start, this is my 1'st buell am i doing something wrong or what possible problems may i have any info and help would be appreciated.

Charge the battery, change the spark plugs, and don't start it unless you're going to ride it, to get it nice & hot.

Take battery to battery's plus and get it checked out.

It sounds like it has been sitting a while. I think it is probably best to get a new battery, spark plugs, air filter and fluids. Drain the fuel tank and get fresh gas. A good Injector cleaner wouldn't be a bad idea to add to the fuel.
