Hello fellow Buellers,
I'm certain this has come up on the forum a gazillion times so please be patient with me and push me in the right direction so I won't put any unnecessary babble when there's a specific place to go to find what I'm looking for (advice).

I have a 2007 XB12R Firebolt and I love the thing! I got ECMSpy to begin doing my own TPS resests but in the two years I have had the setup, I have not been able to make it work. I recently received an email from Gunter letting me know as a registered user that a new version with less hassle was out. So a week ago I got the courage to go through the download and install process and after making sure I didn't dick up my installation, I still can't get it to pull the data from the bike. I'm using a WinXP SP3 OS with the latest FTDI drivers and so forth and the key is ON and the switch is ON. When I hook up the thing I get a timeout error. I know the ECMSpy is seeing the special cable because it is showing up in the correct com port. So I now have come to the realization that I need some serious help with this beast. If I'm in the wrong place, please steer me to where I should go. Thanks!

Ed
