Did a search, but didn't come up with anything...probably oversight on my part. My clock and trip meter restarts virtually every time I turn my bike off. A couple times while I've been riding the speedo and rpm needle spin all the way right and back quickly like prior to start up. Any suggestion? thanks | ||

Loose battery connection probably. The needle jump is the speedo "rebooting". If it is resetting he clock every time you start even with clean tight battery connections, your battery is getting bad. | ||

Had and still have the same reset issue with the clock and odo. Check out the thread I started about it. "Random speedo/tac needle sweeps & trip odo/clock resets " I'll refresh it so it comes out by your thread. The sweep at at start up is a normal system check. Read that somewhere, maybe the owner's manual. |
