I'm getting really bad gas mileage all of the sudden on my xb12s. I used to get about 40 miles gallon, and pretty close to that after getting my racekit installed years ago. This year after spring, I'm getting hardly 20 miles per gallon.
Bike runs great. I put new spark plugs in last year, air filter is pretty new. I don't smell gas etc.
Anyone else having a this kinda problem where the difference is this huge?
thanks

I got 18 mpg once when my O2 sensor failed. Plugs showed super rich running condition. Had to replace the exhaust header due to poor welding at the O2 threads.

Use ECMspy to determine what your AFV is running at. It may be a failed O2 sensor that needs replacement causing your bike to think its lean.

did anyone talk you into trying race fuel. This is a big problem due to most places sell you leaded fuel which coats the O2 making it not read what it should. the O2 will test good but read terrible wrong.

been there done that on the race bike once on the dyno on a new set of widebands. boy was I ticked at myself.
