Riding home yesterday and my buddy tells me my brake light is out. I get home take off the light, unplug the 3 connections, put it all back together and now the light works. However when I pull the front brake lever or step on the back brake lever the light doesn't get any brighter..it's almost like it's stuck w/ the brake light on. Is this behavior of a bulb going bad? I guess I should begin tracing back the wires from the front and back brake? Anyone ever experience this?

I'm at work so I can't check until later, but does the bulb have to go in a certain way? I think I just stuck it back in and never looked.

One of your brake switches is stuck on. Unplug them to see which one it is. You can try taking it apart and cleaning it out, or you can get a new one dirt cheap.
