I just purchased a Fieldsheer Cyclone suit. Very nice suit but the sizing seems weird. The top of jacket is a more snug fit. (tshirt, long sleeve shirt, jeans and heated vest) while below the waist very loose/baggy fitting. The legs seem long and super baggy and the knee protection is too low and very loose. I finally moved them to the highest setting and now they seem to be in correct position while sitting on bike.

The arms could probably be 1/2" longer otherwise seem ok. (elbow armor has good position)
But if my arms move above the shoulder-line, it gets very tight in the shoulders and pulls in the groin area. Tight and uncomfortable. And I feel like... I am gonna rip it when I pull it up/over my shoulders. And the looseness of the legs have me worried ...in a fall they will be too baggy/loose for proper protection.

I have only tested this in my home, I am not sure how much bigger the 2X would be to the XL. Maybe I need to just get used to the fit??? It does feel OK while sitting on the bike. But just OK... and throwing my leg over saddle was easy.

I have a RA # and most likely will be exchanging it for the 2X. I just hope I don't end up swimming it it.

I am 6ft/200lbs w/slight beer belly. 34/34 jeans (36/34 in a bad week)

Thanks,
mike

Just tried it on one last time and decided it's fine, I'm keeping the xl.

After further use, I decided the quilted liner is just poorly designed. The leg zippers do not go up as high as the shell, this is a problem with some boots. The boots get stuck but with some persuasion they fit thru ok. I think the quilted liner is thin and will probably not use it.

So, I put on my Olympia pant liner and jacket liner (both warm and waterproof) then put the Cyclone over that and now it goes on ALOT smoother and is 2x warmer.
I am thinking of somehow getting the olympia pants to mount inside the cyclone. And I also have a tourmaster heated vest that is a slight pits to hook up with the suit.

This suit is very heavy and alittle awkward getting into/out of but once this suit is on and secure, and you are on the bike is works as it was designed.
(with the liner removed there is no problem getting in/out)

PS: I hate the velcro on the legs... I may eventually see what it would cost to remove it and have zippers installed.

Also,... You pretty much have to remove the suit if you want to take a pee. there is a bib thing blocking the free path.
