I have used aftermarket modules for my harleys to bring speedometer to correct reading(100 bucks). Anyone know where to find setting to modify speedo setting in ecm file. I can play with values if I know where to test. I hate to spend the money since I can modify and burn with ecmspy. Speedo is off between 4-5mph via gps check.

Thanks.

All the XB's are like that.

yeah, that's what I figured. just like the harleys, and that's with a new tire so it only gets worse if not by much. it's one of those things that bugs me.

Buddy emailed me pic of wiring diagram. Looks like vss goes directly to speedo so no manipulation by ecm for speed adjustment. Thanks for all who looked anyway.

Yea I didn't want to say anything wrong, so I didn't post, but that was what I believed about the VSS. I know the ECM does read the speed, but has no control of it going to the gauges.
