Ok, you may think they suck. Spielberg certainly ain't looking over his shoulder. But the music is cool.

These are big files and take a while to buffer. Be sure to select "wide" on the viewer as they are indeed widescreen.

Constructive advice welcomed. And you can leave all that guff out about riding on the wrong side of the road. The Japanese, Irish, Aussies and Brits have it right.

Nice!
I really like the second one with the added video of the bike going by.
The only thing I'd do differently would be to mount the camera on your helmet, so the vibes go away.
What software are you using to edit?

Klink, nice videos. I'm thinking I can stream it faster for you. Upload a copy to me if you like, my ftp guest server is up.

Here's my videomount, custom made by World-Famous Pinner Dave's Welding and Fabrication in beautiful downtown Lake Los Angeles, CA.

You need a "knee puck" on the side of the camera and you'll be all set.

That is hardened steel, Pinner had to fire up the plasma cutter to get through it. Camera is a $300 cheapie, bought just for this purpose so if it gets mashed, no harm done.

"no puck required"

"no puck required"

Yea, but it sure would look cool.

Nice video there Klink. A little practice and maybe Speilberg will be knocking at the door.

Riding on the "wrong side of the road" brings back memories of my own country... it just looks "funny", nonetheless they are nice movies! Good editing also.

Thanks guys!

Glitch: I'm using MS Movie Maker, but I plan to switch to Adobe Premiere Elements RSN.

Pwnzor: yeah, I think you're right. Putfile is awful slow. I'll try this FTP stuff tonight.

Angelwild: Yep, Oz is pretty cool. Check my website (via my Profile) for more Aussie riding stuff. Also go to Bikeme.tv for the best Aussie biking forum.

Cheers, Klink

Reposted Nick's videos HERE. Everybody check it, see if they stream ok. I'll make adjustments if people say it bogs down. 2Mbps downstream is whats really needed on these. I think I got the aspect ratio correct, and the video frame is larger.

Matt... got my mount today in the mail. Got everything setup I think, if the rain clears I'll have some video's for you to host... if you are up for it. Shoot me a PM or something with an instant messenger or something so I can contact you.. email is soo slow sometimes.

RAM mount by the way... got it on the bars for now, I am kinda nervous about my camera, so it is going to stay there until I build trust in the mount.

Pwnzor,

Yeah the speed of your site seems to be just fine. I got an average of just under 1MB/sec while downloading one of the vids.

I wonder what speed others are getting? I've got 10Mbps down 2Mbps up so it's hard to tell if it will be slow on other connections or not.

I can compress the video somewhat without losing much in the way of quality.

Dude those are pretty cool videos. I really like how your bike doesnt have that big ugly license plate hanger over the rear tire like mine does. Keep up the good work.

Aeholton: I'm using a Ram mount too. Works really well, but I bought a short one to minimise the effects of vibration, but unfortunately it does not allow me enough room to move the camera about as much as I'd like. Suggest you get a long one!

Klink, I tightened up the vertical size by 40 pixels, I think I got it just right.

Hey Pwnzor, I'm trying to find the pixel dimensions of the movie. I know there should be 576 horizontal lines, but I'm having trouble with the vertical, because my camera does widescreen anamorphically, which means (I think) that the pixels become oblong!

Thanks again for the hosting!

I can streth the image in any direction, so if you think it needs a wider aspect, I'll adjust it, only takes a few seconds for me to do it.

Let me know.
