I'm curious to know if all the mods I have done over the winter will be too much for the bike to handle, to where I wouldn't be able to ride it to the dealer without it dying or stalling? I have done all of the follow mods over the winter and I have not started the bike up since it was stock. Modified can, new plugs, insulated airbox, k&n air filter, chopped up 12 airbox, vent holes in the airbox lid, desnorkled and tfi unit. Thanks for the help. I am just curious to see if the bike can handle that much change all at one time.

With the TFI though, get some dyno time to tune it in correctly.

Thanks for the info. I feel a little bit more relieved.

Cataract12- I am definitely going to need some dyno time.

I have a 2004 XB12R and did all that you have done.
The weather here in pennsylvania has been crappy but I have been able to get out a little bit here and there.

The bike runs great!! Pulls very hard above 3000 rpm. Lost very little bottom end. I need to play with the TFI some more but you will be happy.
I would ride the bike for a day or so then get the TPS reset.

MY MODS

1 desnorkle
2 TFI
3 K&N filter
4 cut airbox
5 heat blanket under airbox
5 iridium plugs
6 mobil 1 20-50 vtwin in motor
7 mobil 1 75-80 in tranny
