Yeah, I got mine a couple of weeks ago. There's also a tag in the hat that says if you do a demo (I can't remember the dates) give 'em the tag and they'll give you a swing bag.
Cool huh!

The same swing bag they were giving out last year? I got one of those...it sucks. Never stays where it's supposed to. Hopefully it's a different one.

The free sling bag offer starts April 15th. I believe it will be the same bag (or something similar).

Daveinm - I rode home from the dealership (3hrs) and I noticed the same thing - it's a nice bag to carry around, but not really for riding on the bike. With the single strap there's nothing that keeps it from rotating around...

Or flapping around and trying to pull you off the bike. Might as well strap a kite to your back: )

I was surprised.. I went to Whitts H-D/Buell In Manassas VA and the parts manager (very helpful lady that wants your business, even if she's not sure about the Buells, she's trying harder then the rest of her staff) took my form and in two minutes handed me my hat. They actually had a few Buells on the floor, not hidden in the back (not up front but better than it used to be)they had one of each I think.. and even had a 12S on a platform so you could admire it. I think they are finally trying to wake up and smell the hooliganism, now if only the sales folks would share the parts managers attitude.. might be a good dealer one day.

Not sure about service, since last time I was told they couldn't service my bike since it was a custom (see pic & info in my profile) and they didn't work on customs they didn't build. Still not feeling warm and fuzzy enough to take a bike there, but they are closer then the pro-Buell dealer I've been using Frederick hd-Buell in Maryland.

Just thought I'd put that out there as info on a dealer and a hat.

later,

Oh, and on the bag, I thought I read somewhere that it's a 'new' bag, not the same one as last year. It's not too 'mobil' at moderate speeds, but if I cinch it tight enough to stay, it cuts into my neck, so I don't use it that much. Have to see what the new bags look like later this year.

Later,

Got my hat a couple of weeks ago in about 2 minutes also. Was at the flea market checking out some baseball cards; the guy said he didn't have many Dallas Cowboy items!

Wanted to get the bag last year, but couldn't work out a time with the dealer.

That bag is fine! I drove a 200 miles round trip from Golden to Colorado Spring and loaded a Mountain Bike front fork in it. I use it as my commuter bag EVERYDAY. Starting to fray at bottom part of the zipper though. A new bag just in time!

I like my bag. All I had to do was run a spare shoulder strap from another bag around it. Clip one end to the strap loop on front, go around back, then clip the other end to the same loop. Never moved on me. Survived the crash pretty well, too. I really like the cel phone pocket and water bottle pocket.

As soon as I walked in and showed the coupon to em they got me my hat at H-D of Fresno. As to these bags, am I to understand they are some sort of courier bag? Ive been told that i still have to test ride even though i just bought my Bike.

I got one, don't really need it. The deal is no good in Canada, right? If this is so, if there is a Canadian out there that wants mine, PM me.

Got mine today at Susquehanna H-D/Buell in Hbg PA. But those fools got rid of all the Buells. No gear at all and a few leftover bikes in the back. Surprised they had the hat.
