Hi all,
I've been playing around with the idea of getting another set of fairings in a different color...well needless to say trying to find any is really difficult! I manufacture parts for other projects of mine (mainly old Broncos, Jeeps, and catamarans) and am considering doing the same for the XB and X1 Buell. Are there any of you that would be interested in another set? I'm going to be making a run of them and need to know how many more and what colors to make.

Thanks,
Paul

And, what do they look like for...someone that hasn't seen the past ?

You said farings but what exactly are you going to make ? If you are good to make molds to make fly screen, fender, tank cover and underbelly. I’ll be interested in a full set for spares. If actually a faring then post some pictures

The only fairing on an XB that I can think of is on a Firebolt.
I had no idea they had become hard to find. Sounds like quite a project!

When I said fairings, I ment an entire paint set. So it would be the flyscreen, tank cover, front fender, and chin spoiler. I also have parts for the STT number plates and front fender set as well as the Ulysses front fender setup. I'm currently trying to color match original Buell colors but will offer colors that weren't available , translucent sets, and striped sets. I just wanted to see if there was any interest and to see what a fair market price would be for a set.

Mmm, still need to see what you are talking about !
Can't answer your question until I know what I might be spending my money on !

Pictures somewhere, a web site, something..?

I really want Ulysses stuff in White like the XB12XP. I've searched and can't find it anywhere.

I actually found two new Ulysses Airbox covers, one in blue and the other translucent blue.

I'd forgotten how nice that stuff was.

Buell changed things with a bike that had no paint.

Too bad the translucent covers are so incredibly fragile. Once had one shatter simply through contact with a few drops of fuel that fell on it on a warm day (wouldn't even have called it hot).

I always thought the translucent ones looked really cool, I wonder what they're made of, seems like lexan would be the obvious choice.

I definitely would buy a complete 2008 XB12r Artic White set.
