Did you get that from High Country HD in Frederick, CO? Unless some privateer bult his own, I think the Folks at High Country HD built that one.

In case you weren't aware, there were two Buells entered that year and they came in 2nd (Brian Anderson) and 3rd (Joe Kopp).

Sorry, but the stats I have don't show the
plate numbers, so I don't know who rode which bike.

I saw that bike listed and thought it would be cool to own it, but I've already got enough thrashed Buells. Hope you get it road worthy and enjoy it.

Sorry, I can't help either. Pressing the dealer by taking it down for a visit and showing it to the shop there should help. "Ya, Ol' Clem built that. He's off down in a holler now, lemme see if'n I can give him a shout"

Are you just curious about an old race bike? Or are you looking for providence and hoping for a payoff?

good luck getting any info out of HD in Colorado. I bought it from the guy in Colorado and before I decided to sell it because I just never rode the damn thing and it just sat around....I tried getting any info or assistance just for shits and giggles. They don't give a single by the way one of the little springs on a shifter pawl popped off at one time, I had to wait 2 months to get the special clutch nut tool from Italy for the slipper clutch. if I come across it in my cleaning of the garage ill hit you up and send it to you
