Please be patient with an old man who is IT challenged. I have saved my stock EEPROM in ECMdroid on my android pad. I want to back it up on another device. can I just attach it to an email and email it to another device, such as my PC? but how to attach it, and must i also install ECMdroid on the other device?

Thanks all.

The EEPROM file should be on your Android pad. The file format is .xpr, if you remember the backup file name you gave when you saved it you can find it connecting your pad with USB cable to your PC and using search function in Windows. The backup file is likely somewhere in the ECM Droid installation folder on your device. Where is this folder I do not know, use search function in Windows or browse the folders on your device manually.

If you know where this .xpr file is on you device you can browse and attach this file in your Android email program to email this file on your email and then download this file from email on your PC.

Just attach the file to an e-mail and send it to yourself, so it is saved in your e-mail server (like Yahoo or whatever). Now you can access the file from anything you get your e-mail on. Even if your PC burns up.

You can download it from the mail to you PC also if you want but seems unnecessary and duplicating.

No need to download ECMDroid to your PC, unless you will be opening the file or using it from that device.
