Hey Everyone,

Finally finally I am a Buell owner. Today I bought a 2008 XB12S. I really felt the 2008 brought some strong reasons to the table and found what I thought was a good one : )

After the two hour ride home I did notice some oil at the back of the rear cylinder so I am hoping it is not the rocker box issue. Having said that, I am sure there are projects I will need and want to do.

Are there any Buell savvy folks in the Atlanta or Columbus area? I would love to get an opinion on my bike and it's possible issues.

It is not rocker box issue, is is rocker box gaskets issue or cylinder head gaskets issue.

As long as no oil is "running" out of it, just keep it clean and drive it.
My 12s weeps around both cylinders to case gasket. Has since I bought it.
Every oil change, a squirt of brake cleaner and a wipe with a clean rag, and off we go.
Almost 34,000 miles worth. I bought it at 2,8xx miles if that makes any difference.

Mine is leaking like a crap, I just ignore it.
