So my new to me 06 Uly randomly has the engine light come on when riding.
I did have a day when it was HOT and the bike ended up low on oil after a long stop and go ride, the engine light then was flashing like a strobe. I limped it home as easy as I could and it appears to run fine.

There is an issue with the neutral light coming on when the bike gets warm, and if the bike is moved without the key on the gauges will sweep and it usually resets the clock/trip meter. Assuming theres a bad ground heading to the panel maybe? Already fixed one semi broken wire for the turn signals.

Any leads on what might be causing the false neutral and maybe engine light?

(oh yeah, and the horn button doesn't work either)

Wow!
You really hit a jackpot of random failure there.
I would start by running a temporary(at first) wire from the negative battery terminal to the steering bits and see if there is a change.

Yeah, Nate, that thought has crossed my mind. Had to do it on my Road King, it would randomly die until I added a secondary ground wire. Then a few months later it started again and I sold the pig. Problem is I LOVE riding the Uly, So I don't want to sell it! But yes, Im needing some sort of wiring diagram to go off from and Im assuming theres a broken/bare ground wire giving me random fits

The dials sweeping when the bars are moved is probably the other three-wire splice (the red wires) sitting right next to the brown ones you repaired for the blinkers.
This is where the standby power for the instrument cluster is tapped off (supplies power for the tripmeters).

The group of ground wires referenced in the other thread that are screwed to the steering head just above the lower triple clamp include the ground for the horn, The typical failure mode is the internal wires break and the insulation stays in place. If the position of these wires allows them to be slightly snagged on each turn of the bars their already doubtful life will be even shorter.

The good news is that these three issues all caused me great annoyance at the time but after proper repair didn't give any issues for the next 50,000miles before it got parked as a spare frame for my XT.
The neutral light coming on is probably the switch itself - had that one as well.
The engine light could be a host of things - have you checked for stored error codes?

Neutral switch COULD be bad, but its currently disconnected and still lights up at random.
No, I haven't checked codes on it. I'm not real savvy with ECM spy. I know I need to. But figuring there's probably some junk wires I can fix first that may calm down the crazy lights

OK, the neutral switch provides a ground to light the light so assuming you have the disconnected end insulated that particular wire would need to be looked at for worn insulation.
The error codes can be looked at without ECM spy - I do have the pages of the manual scanned if you want to PM me an email address.
