Anyone got any reviews on the EBR disc for street use? I have been considering it.

I have one on my 2003 XB9R with the ZTL2 8 -piston caliper. More than you could use on the street. Be careful cleaning/spinning the front wheel on a stand. The rotor is not only thinner, but is machined with a ‘u-groove’ . Stopping it with my bare hand sliced it open. Two little grooves cut cleanly into my hand 5mm apart. If I can swing it, I’ll get one of these for the 2005.

When I got mine maybe in 2014 for my ‘07 XBS, it was cheaper than the other choices I could find and it works fine for me.

I am ordering one. couple questions:

1.What pads are recommended? I just installed a set of EBC HH.

2.What is service life of the disc? sounds like it is thinner than stock. Will service life be reduced with aggressive pads like the HH?

3. Do you stock the EBR mounting kit?

Hi Tim, I do have one EBR hardware kit for XB wheels currently in stock. I just responded to your PM, but I am still working on a website. In the meantime you can reach me at facebook.com/pegasusperf or 806/681/8004.

Sorry Shoggin, beat you to it. They still show it in the EBR site, as a back order.

Call EBR and order the rotor hardware kit. I asked when they might get more kits and the gal who answered my call said they have the parts but just have not put them into complete kits. She took my order and I got the kit about a week later.
