Hey do any of you know if subframe spacers for the "S" will fit the "SS"?

Also, anyone make some cheaper DIY spacers?

They will fit. They're just jacking plates. The only difference is the rear light will be slightly higher on an SS as the subframe is a little longer. When I removed mine from my s I found it had curled the front of the seat against the air box cover due to the heat from the rear cylinder. Careful use of a heat gun put that right.
