Hey guys, so the title says it all. I tried two different brands of brake fluid (Motul 600 most recently) and bled the darn thing I don't know how many times but basically I get zero brake for about the first half of lever travel, then it's basically 'normal', even allowing me an accidental 'stoppy' (so not good!) at low speed, so I have *something* there in the safety department to cover me, but I'd rather have full brake back.

Is it safe to say the master cylinder is shot? Is there anything else I could be missing? Thanks in advance. (BTW, I'm great with car brake bleeding so I assume I'm not missing something simple in my bleeding process.)

This might sound really strange, but check the pivot pin on the brake lever as well as the contact area where it hits the plunger. My front brake was acting stiff and had poor response a while back similar to what you describe. A little hardly noticeable corrosion in said areas was the cause. Took the lever out and polished everything up. After it was back together it felt normal again.
You probably have the bleeding right. Just be sure you cleaned the tank first and ran enough fluid through the lines to be sure it's all new.
