Does anyone know where I can get a pair of stock 06 XB12X saddle bags? I have the stock tube frame that they mount on, that came on my Uly. Is there an after market set that will work on those frames that are similar to the stock ones?
Thanks

if the latch plate is at the rear you can use most Hepko Becker hard bags.. check out the Gobi's, they can store liquid within the injection molding of the bag I think.

HappyTrails sells a nice kit you can use to mount your own boxes on several different racks..

Specifically, the Buell stock XB12X set was Hepco Becker Journey 42L side cases.
You do need them to latch at the front with the Buell racks, but can you maybe just switch sides of the bags to make this work? I don't see any mention on Hepco sites about versions with different latch locations, and my bags sure look symmetric to me.
They are huge but tough. I went down hard a few years back, and the side bag saved the side of my bike. All it needed were new handlebars and 1 turn signal.
I, on the other hand, needed an ambulance, surgery, and 6-8 weeks recovery.

There are two style of OEM side bag mounts, both made by hepco.

1. Journey style. Made specifically for the journey bags. Will fit other hepco bags if the are not longer than journey. The bag latches to the frame near the passenger footpegs. Standard on the XT model.

2. Outdoorsman model. Fits the junior bags from hepco. It also fits all other hepco bags. The bags latches to the frame in the rear of the bike near the turn signals. These frame are wider at the rear than the XT frame and have rear turn signal relocation as part of this kit. Standard on the XP model.

I have two sets of journey bags for sale.
