I friend has a 06 XB12 with a K&N air filter
and a Termignoni exhaust if he runs the stock ecm what are the draw backs? can the 06 ecm be reprogrammed to be a race ecm?
one least question would a 2004-2005 can be reprogrammed to a race easier than an 06?

if the can be how do i have to do it?

Could run lean; the AFV will try to compensate with a run % higher than 100%..

can the 06 ecm be reprogrammed to be a race ecm?


No.

one least question would a 2004-2005 can be reprogrammed to a race easier than an 06?


No; a standard ECM cannot be programed for Race ECM Eprom (complete programming) only fuel and race maps.

I would try an '07 Standard ECM Eprom.
'07 Uly had a more open air box.
