I have a buddy with a ex race bike and has the race ecm and a fair amount of trick stuff. he replaced his tps sensor and I tried to do a TPS reset with ecm spy.... I could not tap into his ECM. I tried everything and no matter what it does not recognize. any tips or suggestions on how we can set his tps?

I have been able to do this with other XB's. His bike is an 04 with a stock harness from an 04. race harness is gone. ecm is buried in the front fairing. could not get to it to I.D. it.
