Those are 1.75" on the bike now. Possibly too large for an xb9, but I'll mess with it and see how it runs. I'll be building a few custom sets in 1.88" and 2" sizes for guys that have built motors or are all out race applications. Oddly enough, on the 1125, 2" primaries work pretty good so we shall see how it goes.

It needs repolished now, welding is done and it still fits ok. Started it with a stock muffler on it, man that thing was quiet.

Those headers look gorgeous. I've got a small dent in my 12s header and I've been wanting to pull the trigger on a new one but I don't want to settle with a stocker. Wish I could get a header like this.

Ride out this way and listen to it in person, it's only a 5 hour ride.

I played that and my daughter (nine years old) said - Oooooooh, purdy, wow! He built that?!?

My wife heard it from the other room and thought she heard drums.

I really like the look of those separate cans, and they do sound great!

Took it outside the garage to get a different video. Seems to be much more mellow outdoors.

Either way it sounds sweet on my computer's sound system. NEAT! I had no idea a 9 could sound that tough.

Yeah Glitch, a lot like that!

Funny you should say that, I just took these not an hour ago.

Son #1 is excited and looking forward to riding it, probably won't happen until next year though.

Ok, Nice, very nice. But what the hell is up with the 02 sensor? REALLY, out in the open with a pathetic wire? Come on figure out a way to delete that ugly ass thing.

I do not mean to offend anyone(original builder)but there has to be a better way. Please find a better way. : )

That's him in the pic above, eventually it will be his bike.

I put the sensor bungs where it would be easy access to switch them since the bike currently only has one O2 sensor. I may end up putting a pair of Bosch widebands on it with my PLX devices O2 controllers. Mainly it's just for tuning purposes, where do YOU want them located? There aren't many places to put them and the sensor bungs that I have are flat across both sides, so mounting them in the stock location is not an option. I planned on going to the wideband eventually, so they need to be either on the top or the side of the pipe, bottom mounting is not a good option. I think the narrow band sensors are a little bit more tolerant as far as the mounting position goes.

Also, these are just prototype headers, they will change on the next version. More slip fittings to make it easier to install and allow for variances between bikes.

D adams, I must apologize, my post sounded very rude. It wasn't meant that way, more tongue in cheek smartassness.
