So it finally happened to my '03 Lightning. My front cylinder plug lead wore through and shorted on the frame. By the time I realized wheat happened I had it already trailered back to my shop.
I figured it was a simple fix. Just replace the plugs, and leads and away you go! Not so fast. It seems to be running rough ever since. It is much better now that it is running on both cylinders, but not nearly as good as it did before. Seems to idle low and be missing.
Anyone have this issue? Could I have damaged the race ecm? Is it a TPS reset that I need to do? Or is there some other procedure I should perform or should have done?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Oh, I should mention too that throttle response is not great and falls back to idle very slowly.

Perhaps the AFV had adjusted funny by running on one jug intermittently.
The TPS should not be affected by anything you mentioned.

I would suggest a nice cruise on the highway to see if it figures itself out after 15 minutes.
top gear, constant throttle, like 55 to 70 miles per hour... you know.
