Here is a short clip of the damage as a result of overboosting probably 25psi or more on my turbo XB. It's going to be a fun build to put back together!!

Yikes, that sucks. I can't wait to see the sped up version of your new motor build.


Sidenote, wow are those motors really simple to dissemble; it took me 2 days to take apart and bag a SV motor.

I had prepared myself to see minced engine parts inside the case but I found only chopped parts: ) I probably will be saving the heads, primary drive components, cam galley parts, and some of the tranny parts, but the shift drum took a hit from the rod too. I guess I expected at least one of the cylinder heads to be damaged.
