Maas had a thread about a GPS mount he had made for his Firebolt.
http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/632687.html?1306156755

I asked him to make me one for mine too.

But I only wanted 1 threaded hole for a ball for my RAM mount.

Even with my tank bag on the bike the GPS fits great. I am using a Zumo 660 GPS that is made for motorcycles. It is weatherproof and the mount I am using is hardwired onto the bike to keep the GPS charged.

A big thanks to Maas for coming up with a great way to mount a GPS. Now I just can't wait to get out and use it!!!

that is cool. Marshal seems to be quite the craftsman.

but i think you should edit your post and put up images that don't have your address. you can trust mist people on badweb, but not everyone on the internet.
i know i'd like to have me an 09 XB12R ....

These fit my buddies 04 and my 08. I'm not too familiar with the changes between years. Are the forks different?

I also designed a model to fit the 1125's.

Anyone who is on the fence about one of these mounts I can tell you it is worth it. Marshall does awesome work and the quality is great. Get in contact with him and ask any questions you might have and I am sure he will answer them.

Again I want to say thanks for the mount and it is working great.

I've got a mount on its way for the 08 12r. More when I get it, but the great thing is that he can "customize" the mount for any device you want to mount. I'm going with a droid, so I bought a RAM "finger" mount and had it shipped to Marshall, who drilled the appropriate holes in his mount and put everything together and is now shipping it to me ready for install. Can't ask for better service than that!

Got the piece and installed it last night. I've got helibars installed, and the piece worked with it (although the fit was tight and required some convincing). Piece looks like it was made for the bike, because it was! Highly recommended.

Here is a new design that I came out with.
It covers all of the logo on the trees instead of half so it looks cleaner and also allows more space to mount below so the mount isn't so close to the key.
PM for any questions/info.
