I have an 06 Lightening Xbsx and I'm wanting to replace the handlebars with a more aggressive look/riding position. Could I simply replace the current bars with firebolt handlebars? And could anybody link me to some more aggressive looking handle bars that I could use? Thankyou

It'll take a bit of modding to get the Firebolt stuff to work.
Some carving, a top triple...
For me the best solution is Cross Roads "clip ons".

I have the 0o bars, but I've also had the 7o and they were a little less comfortable.

I see you're in Gainsville.
Not too far up the road from me.
Maybe we'll see you around Suches.

I have crossroad bars on mine,I got them a couple years ago . I like the riding position, but the bend of the clutch cable and the route of the throttle lines are tight. Rerouting the clutch cable through the front fairing works but can become a project.

would it be cheaper to get a firebolt front end? would that just bolt on? like if you wanted the fairing and everything too?

There is a lot to think about when converting the front fairing. Beside getting the bracket, fairing and bars, you will need to figure how to run your ignition and the mess of crap inside the lightnings fairing. Lightningbolts are definitely cool looking though and crossroad bars aren't cheep.
