hi does anyone knows if the xb9r and xb12 rear caliper are the same?

i'm making a custom "tuber" (M2) with a xb9r (year 2006) swingarm conversion.

and way to many mods on the frame.

All XB models share the same rear caliper. I would have to check and confirm, but I believe it is carry over from the Blast.

If you want to be really cool, you need a Brembo caliper that you can hide behind the swing arm.

And, as luck would have, it, I have two of them that I might be persuaded to part with for a suitable contribution to my favorite charity.

Reason for sale: sold my Buell.

There is information somewhere deep in the bowels of the Knowledge vault on how to mount it.

American Sportbike sells the brake lines and DarkHorseMoto brackets to make the Brembo calipers an easy, bolt-up conversion.

fifty bucks seems appropriate.



I also have one that is already set up to go on a Hals Chain conversion or a tuber, with the mounting plate and axle spacers that I had custom machined.
