Last couple of rides, I've noticed kind of a boiling sound when I shut off. The sound comes from the fuel pump area on the right side.

Pretty sure I've never noticed it before.

Any ideas?

Gas boiling inside the frame as it takes on engine heat. Sometimes more noticeable than others depending on where you buy gas.

Not necessarily boiling. Most likely the fuel pump cycling to prevent vapor lock.

I've had gas in my tank boil before. On one very hot day I saw it boiling like crazy as I was refueling. It settled down quickly as cooler gas went in the tank. It was 103 degrees when that was happening though.

That's part of what I'm wondering. It's cooler weather now so it's not the heat.

I am riding twice the distance I usually do, though.
