Which dealer, if you had to take your Buell to a dealer, would you trust your Buell with in the Chicago area? Thanks.

While I've only had one experience with their parts dept. I would try Illinois HD in Berwyn again. They were the only place around that had plug wires in stock when I was prepping my bike for a long trip. The parts guy was a Buell rider, and we had a nice talk for a while because there were no other customers to take care of. I know that wasn't the service are that it sounds like you are asking about, but it was a better experience than I've had elsewhere.

If you go north to Kenosha, Uke's is great. They even have Buells in their museum. The Owner is a friend of Erik. I've heard good things about McHenry HD/Buell also.

I've heard really good things about Woodstock HD but I go to Zylstra and have had no problems with them. Very help and the parts guy Bruce is always willing to help me out!

Lake Shore HD has been pretty good to me. I have only had my bike in there a few times and was always taken care of.

Plasticgunz, I'd stay away from the one in your town. It is because of them that I wrenched on my now dearly departed XB9R.

Thank G-d Buell publishes an excellent shop manual.

IL HD always was good to me, as was Lake Shore HD.

+1 what 4cammer said.

I didn't check exactly where you live. If it's general service you are looking for it's all pretty easy to do yourself. If it's the occasional repair, most of that isn't bad either. I could help out if you are in need. Feel free to PM.

4cammer, while I have been in there and treated well, they don't stock anything for parts and certainly aren't Buell oriented.
Sifo, thanks I may hit you up : ) I'm really happy with my bike and it's running well, I just like to be prepared for the worst. I appreciate also 4cammer's discretion. If any of you feels the need to share a particularly bad experience, please do so in PM. Thank You.
