It's 3:13 EST and if you turn on Fox News they are going to be showing a bunch of really cool cars (70 Cuda', Superbird, '70 Mach 1 etc.) drag racing on the deck of the Midway.

My older brother served on the Midway. He participated in the Cuban blockade, and served a year in the S. China sea.

I've been aboard the U.S.S. Midway.

Damn, Spidey, you're putting a date on me...hmmmm, lets see...Cuban missle crisis was 1962. Bro was fresh out of boot camp, and less than one week on the ship when the Capt. announced, ..."this is not a drill...."

I think he was in Tonkin Bay '64-65.

I sent Tom a pic of the embryos, but I think he's too squeamish to post it. A 75 lb. block of frozen embryos isn't pretty.

>>>I've been aboard the U.S.S. Midway.

I was, as a guest, while in the USMC in 1973. Several good friends were MP's staffing the brig on the Midway and when it was in port in Coronado we used to go aboard.

Funny how times have changed but I'll bet you just couldn't drive into the naval base and walk aboard these days.
