Spidey, Are you sure it the lager you're liking? Most guys find the ales (bitters, browns, porters, and stouts) to be the real thing over there. Lager is lighter in color and taste, more on the pissy side like American beers. And "lager and lime" was what the bubble gummers and teeny boppers that didn't care for the taste of beer used to prefer with I was in England some years ago. Pissy beer with Rose's Lime Juice in it. Well I am sure i had both LOL Other than Guiness I had IPA (warm and cold), London Pride, Carlsberg, Stela and another bitter beer that I forgot the name of. | ||

you obviously havent had a good lager if you refer to them as pissy. stop by my pops house we have a really nice pilsner we just kegged. theres no beer like home beer. |
